Heidi Parton
Born 1985
Music has been Heidi Parton’s constant companion almost from the moment of her birth. That’s to be expected, considering she’s the daughter of singer-songwriter and musician Randy Parton and the niece of Dolly Parton.
Biography
“Growing up in the Parton family, I was surrounded by songs and stories from the time I could talk,” Heidi says. “Watching my Aunt Dolly and the rest of the family perform was like having a front-row seat to a masterclass in music and storytelling. From harmonizing in church pews to singing around the family, music was our way of life, and I couldn’t wait to join in.”
Family connections have not only influenced Heidi’s musical journey, they’ve presented opportunities. However, her individual talent, drive and determination have led to her growth as a performer. She began dancing in a Dollywood show at 13, became a featured vocalist at 15, and secured a spot as the headliner of her own show at Dollywood in 2024.
“While Dollywood holds a special place in my heart, I’ve been lucky enough to take my music beyond the park, performing on stages across the country,” Heidi says. “I love blending the traditional sounds I grew up with — the heartfelt mountain music my family is known for — with fresh, modern influences.”

“Whether I’m singing a soulful country ballad or an upbeat tune with a contemporary twist, my goal is always the same: to create music that feels honest and connects with the people who hear it.”
Continuing and Creating a Legacy
“Coming from a family with such a rich musical heritage, I feel a deep sense of responsibility to carry that legacy forward,” Heidi says. “At the same time, I’m excited to carve out my own path in the music world. For me, music isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am, and I’m looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me next.”
